We are excited to know Christ, and want to share that experience with people first throughout our local community, and ultimately around the world. We feel privileged to be part of a denomination with such a passion for this goal. Working together, we are able to accomplish more than we could ever imagine if we tried to reach the world independent of each other. Our involvement includes prayer, financial support, and even personal experience through short-term missions opportunities in other parts of the world.
Nazarenes have outreach ministries in over 150 world areas, with approximately 800 missionaries. As a denomination we support 40 Bible and theological colleges, 11 liberal arts universities, and 5 vocational/training school worldwide, which together serve over 40,000 students annually. Compassionate ministries are an important part of our ministries, too, as we seek to provide for physical needs in addition to spiritual ones.
